Clay Phillips was born and raised in Montgomery, AL and attended Auburn University where he obtained a B.S. degree in Building Science. Clay worked in the construction industry for four years before starting his own construction company in 2002. Clay held a general contractor’s license in Alabama, Florida, and Georgia and from 2002 to 2014 he completed many diverse projects including: shopping centers, doctor’s offices, dental offices, custom homes, government housing, community center, historical renovations, industrial buildings, and a hotel. Clay also holds an Alabama Real Estate License. Clay obtained his Juris Doctorate from Thomas Goode Jones School of Law in 2014 and worked as a Deputy District Attorney in Montgomery, Alabama for almost two years. Clay is a member of the Alabama and Florida Bar. Clay has been married to his wife Carrie for twenty plus years and they have three children: Emmalyne, McLain, and Winston. They attend First Baptist Church of Montgomery, AL where Clay serves as a deacon and teaches Sunday school. Clay is active in the community and is a past member of the Board of Directors for One Place Family Justice Center.About Us
